The Gang’s All Here
They say a picture’s worth a thousand words. And since I don’t have the time to write anything close to a thousand words right now, I’ll let these shots–taken over the course of a laaaaaaazy weekend (lazy for the cats, anyway)–speak for themselves.
Happy Tuesday, y’all!

(doesn't Scarlett just make sleeping look so GOOD?!)

Oh Gwen!
Vashti’s coat & tail are just GORGEOUS and yes, Scarlett DOES make me long for my bed (more than I was longing already, which I didn’t think possible!) MOL
And Homer … well, there aren’t words.
Give him TONS of smoochies from me and Morticia sends whisker kisses!
Great pics! While your Scarlett and mine look nothing alike, they sure act alike! Homer is adorable as always! And, Vash looks really good. She’s still beautiful and it’s nice to see pictures of her. Sending all our love and whisker kisses to all our friends in Homer’s World!
After reading your book, it’s lovely to keep in touch and to see how the gagn are doing. All are looking as gorgeous as ever, thanks for sharing, hope you are all well, love me and willow xxx
Your adorable cats remind me of my three cats- Daisy, Andy and Lucy
as they lie around the living room sleeping on a hot summer’s day.
Your cat pictures are sure cute!
Scarlett has turned sleeping into an art form! Glad Vashti is doing better – she looks fabulous! And Homer? And well what can you say about a wonder cat?
Hey Gwen how about an update on the basement kitties? Do you kow if my box ever arrived?
Kisses to all!
Wow I just went on the Shelter Challenge and Blind Cat Rescue is #6 overall and #1 in North Carolina! Must be all those positive vibes Homer has been sending out!
Lazy bums!! Scarlett is so cute! My parents’ cat Morgaine is a big ol’ bloaty crab too, so she’d probably like to commiserate with Scarlett. Wonder would just be friends with her. Everyone is his BFF.
Something else for you… I was talking to my dad yesterday about Pixie and Wonder. I rearranged the cats’ bedroom this weekend, and it took Pixie a day and a half to do what Wonder did in a few minutes: find the new spot for the food bowl. My dad responded with “That’s because Pixie is blind and Wonder is just missing his eyes.” Clearly there is a difference between a “blind cat” and an “eyeless cat.”
Send lots of love to your brood from my brood!
Thanks so much for these lovely pictures: cats raise relaxation and sleep to a fine art! These certainly know whose apartment it is!
Absolutely adorable!! Thanks Gwen for the smile you just put on my face.
Love seeing pix of the fuzzy brood in their home doin’ what they do! Thanks for sharing them with all of us.
I agree with Gisele, cats and sleep equals fine art. I loved seeing them all, but especailly Scarlett. Gwen you were not kidding when you referred to her laaaazzzzzy days. Love to all from me and Skittles.
Thanks for sharing those pics! I love them all! And it’s great to see Vashti up and running, too!
And I just especially love the pic of Homer bear!
And before I forget – Scarlett looks so comfy there!
Sending you and your family our family regards!
